We seem incapable of discussing even simple needs and concepts without name calling and enough bullshit to fertilize Saudi Arabia. Those that perpetuate this trend are our enemies, avoid them in the public market and oppose them at the polls.

A blog is a place for editorials, and by definition, editorials are not articles of compromise, they are opinions, declarations of ideological standards. I haven't been online for a while because what we need are not strident statements, but ideas. When ideas are shot down as heresy, then so goes freedom of speech, press and worship.

I expect these things to be redefined in the next few years, I hope that my kids and maybe grandkids have the stones to say to the political ayatollahs, "screw off".
