OK, here is your chance

Take a quick look at my profile picture. It is a representation of me, as rendered by Anne. I think that she did a pretty good job, considering that she has never seen me, or a picture of me, and was working with the scantest of descriptions.

First, the picture doesn't really look like me, but I still like it.

I want to ask, what does the pic say to you? What kind of impression would you draw of the blogger represented here? Would you buy a used car from this person?

Does the pic remind you of anybody else?

Cut yourself loose, I will move on Monday.

From afar I thought "you" looked like a South Park version of Chairman Mao with big eyes (for a commie).

He looks a little grainy in the small picture, maybe we can fix that. Or I can try again if you want, eventually I might get one that looks kind of like you. I think this is the oddest challenge I've had yet - drawing someone I've never seen. It might make a funny meme, but might make some people mad. LOL

...what do you mean you're moving on Monday, where are you going?

Woozie:

your call is close to what might have posted, tho I would not have invoked South Park..

Anne:

back to my usual rant & rave mode.

LOL. I swear, Chairman Mao was the last person on my mind when I drew that, and I don't think you are anything like him.

Looks like Radar O'Reily to me.

That's very strange. That picture of you is very real. It is you, in the mind's eye of Anne, formed from some information much like that of people who know you "in person," only lacking in the image-on-the-retina department. So, maybe even more real, in some way.

C'mon. Admit it. You have pens and pencils in your pocket. Right now. Look.

Anne, were you influenced by an old avatar of ER's?

First, the picture doesn't really look like me, but I still like it.

It IS a cute pic.

My first impression of the blogger is that he is studious and intellectual - however, that he isn't sure he really understands what actually IS going on around here.

...Kind of like - he got off at the wrong bus stop.

Oh.

Oops.

Maybe I just see that in him because that is the way *I* feel...

Eleanor Rigby - I specifically tried to forget ER's previous icons, which was difficult.

As a special correspondent at ER's blog and someone who as actaully seen him my comment on this drawing is that I don't remember ever seeing ER wearing a green shirt.

Oh, and knowing him, so far mainly in a work environment, I would buy a used car from him.

I picked right up on the pens in the pocket..I DO hope there is a protector in there! I see a good and kind face..I like the way Anne "sees you"..Used car from you? I don't think you would try to sell one unless it was yours, then I believe you'd be very honest about it's pros and cons...just my 2 cents..

Not a bad thing. How did that go?

A cherry you say! Not really interested but I loved the premise of this post. So ER, think you'd ruin the fun if you actually posted a picture of yourself?

Ah... Takes one to know one(!)

OK, I was gonna suggest Kim Jung Il...

Yes! An ol' avatar? Oui? Non?

not plausible at this time...

Ah c'mon. Don't be shy(!)

Elanor - ah, you speaka zee French, oui? Je ne me souvient pas avoir vu un avatar de Kim Jung Il ici. ER me fait penser a un prof d'histoire plus qu'autre chose. Vraiement, c'est pure accident que le dessin ressemble a quelq'un.

LOL, I love the artwork!
As far as what I would think about the blogger based on this as the profile pic goes...
I would think that the blogger had a sense of humor (reminds me of King of the Hill)was involved in animation, production or print of cartoons & that blogger was probably an intellectual.
nutshell=intellectual w/ sense of humor.

Pas vraiment. (<-The French probably don't use that term...) One time many moons ago, pre-children, pre-husband, pre-"freedom that comes with adulthood", I studied in Tours during college. Another lifetime it seems...

But - I can still read a bit! I thought ER had an avatar up for a day or two that was a pic of Kim Jung II (by which, perhaps, you had been subliminally influenced)... Or, I was just hallucinating that day...

Never can really tell reality from fiction in my little world...

[musing]

[thinks to self... maybe I'm just finding it difficult to believe what is actually going on in this world...]

Anywho, FAB drawing. I like your avatar, too! I need one; I've decided to start a blog...
