I'm back (like anybody cares)

Nobody cares. I don't. Well, that is not exactly true, I am back because I got a nice note from the security folks at Google saying that somebody was trying to crack my account but had failed.

Somebody was from China.

Now, truth is, if you ever needed evidence that what you see here is dead-solid gospel truth, this surely is it. If the Chinese are after the influence that is based here, well....

Now, how about that election?

Yeah, me too. I am so sick of it that I am not even ashamed to tell old ladies that call to plea passionately for my support and money to go and do something that might have been common in the biblical enclave of Sodom.

And the two candidates for the White House are cruising along, racing to see who can impress the least. Romney is running, oddly enough, on a strategy modeled after the Democratic strategy of 2008. What he has to offer is that he is white and he isn't Obama. He is counting on being the lesser of two assholes. Obama on the other hand, is running on a similar strategy by being a minimalist campaigner and a consistent President. He doesn't have to run for anything, and he needn't pander for respect, he need only maintain while the other guy shows what he has.

I'm still going for Ron Paul.

Crackpot?     Yes.

But a genuine crackpot.
