The real measure of the issue with this particular business is, "do they refuse service to any particular sub-community.?"
Aside from that, there's a guy that works there with an opinion that is unpopular with quite a few folks.
(In fairness, there are a lot of side issues that complicate the issue, legally).
but chill folks, this is like a declaration of war over a Big Mac...

I thought the issue was the gay rights supporters have chosen to boycott the place because they learned the owner uses some of the profits to support anti-gay organizations. I don't think anyone has yet claimed that CFA has done anything illegal. Unless you are a food critic. (Sorry--it's not that good.)
The ironic thing, of course, is that CFA has probably made extra money off all of this. I saw the demonstrators out there one day, and there was also a very, very long line of people waiting to buy food.
I think that you may be right, I don't know, but info seems to have trickled out at the time, and now has dried up with the rest of this little non-issue.
At first it was the guy supports straight marriage, then he thinks gays are deviants, (both merely expressions of opinion), then, an allegation that he donates money to organizations with an anti-gay agenda, (as far as I know, unsubstantiated).
And you are right, the food is not that great, (it is passable in this day and age), but nothing to get all excited over, and they did probably boost their stock a bit with this whole mess.
I say who cares?
