the FOX Network does it again

OJ Simpson is apparently going to appear on a FOX network 'special' over the Thanksgiving holiday to explain how he might have killed his former wife.

This says a lot about the FOX network, and what they are willing to do for ratings and revenue, try to keep that in mind every time Bill O'Reilly says anything.

Shame on FOX for exploiting this crime. Shame on you if you watch it.

update 1: Bill O'Reilly has weighed in, albeit briefly on this in an article on the FOX news page. He says, among other things that he will not watch the special, buy the book, or buy anything from the sponsors of the broadcast, ever.

IMHO, if he was serious, he would leave FOX immediately and seek employment elsewhere. Mr O'Reilly then ties this to late term abortions, performed in the state of Kansas. This is simply en effort on his part to hitch a favorite Republican theme to a wagon that will be in the spotlight for a few days, just to keep it viable, for when it is needed, in 2008.

Bill O'Reilly can kiss my ass. I am able to think for myself, and have no need of his guidance on these issues.

O.J. mania, I missed you so much!!!

I wonder if we will ever know the actual truth of the matter.

If I was a relative of Nicole or Ron Goldman, I swear O.J. would not be above ground, especially after this book comes out and he BRAGS about murdering her.

I won't be watching. It never ceases to amaze me that so many people watch crap like that.

Oh, by the way someone i know tried the new "improved" Blogger. He liked the fact that you can sort posts into different categories, but other than that it's pretty much the same, not as great as he expected, and it was a pain to go back and categorize all his old posts. Plus they make you get some sort of Google account, as if i don't already have enough passwords to remember. You can't go back if you switch, and I don't know if it's related, but suddenly i can't post comments to his blog. :( I think i'll pass.

Even if I cared what O'Reilly had to say, I'd never get past his bored, arrogant tone. His web programming books are much better (narf!).

The business with Orenthal J's book sickens me. Anyone who's so gullible that he actually believes Simpson didn't do the murders should seriously rethink any plans to leave the house. Ever. Even Simpson's publisher has publicly stated that she believes the book to be his confession.

How he has managed to survive all these years without contracting a fatal dose of lead poisoning is beyond my comprehension.

P.S. to Anne: the worst thing about the new Blogger, to my way of thinking, is that you have to use your e-mail address as your Google login. That means that unlike the (good old) Blogger, you either have to come up with multiple e-mails (which is doable, but annoying), or you have to blog under only one profile.

If I was OJ, I'd keep my gawd damn mouth shut before some new, young, bright-eyed prosicuting attorney find something to confict him on some aspect of their murders. Like conspiracy to murder them or something seeing that he can't be tried for murder again.

News...entertainment...news...seems Fox can't make up it's mind which it really is. And if BillO is caught flat out lying he then says not really a news person. Frankly I'm waiting for the last straw, when people finally say ENOUGH.

It might be a long wait. Lots of sheep out here seem to eat it up, including listening to what OJ might have to say. I, for one, won't give him a second more of my time.

Quote of the week:

"A Modest Proposal

Can we put a shark, Gary Condit, and OJ into a tank for a fight to the death?

Now that'd be news."

Substitute any name you like in place of Gary Condit. I have a few ideas of my own.

put Rush in there. Sharks are carnivores, not bottom feeders, so it would go hungry while the other two went at it or at themselves.

Now that would be a special worth watching....

They may all take turns in kissing my hinny. OJ is a major ass and Bill Reilly is beyond asshatishness. Every time I think we have hit an all time low, there is a new surprise. I guess it keeps life interesting.
